The successful candidate will focus on developing and maintaining reusable front-end libraries and components, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and adhere to best practices. This role is critical in streamlining the development process for other teams within our organization, facilitating faster and more efficient software development across various projects.
As a Medior Front-End Developer, you will be responsible for implementing visual elements that users see and interact with in web applications. You will work closely with our design and ‘backend’ teams to bridge the gap between User Interface design and the technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks and functions.
Develop and Optimize User Interfaces – Build new UI features with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, ensuring performance and scalability.
Create Reusable Code and Components – Build reusable code and components for future projects, incorporating them into common libraries.
Ensure Design Feasibility – Collaborate with UX/UI teams to ensure technical feasibility and validate user input.
Adhere to Best Coding Practices – Write clean, high-quality code and maintain clear documentation.
Stay Current with Emerging Technologies – Continuously learn and apply new technologies to improve development processes.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Experience: 3-5 years of professional experience in front-end development. Strong portfolio showcasing your work with Angular and Angular Material or similar frameworks.
Mindset: Enthusiasm to learn and build reusable components for the organization. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Web App Development – Experience in developing web applications using advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as Angular.js, React.js, or Vue.js.
Proficient in Web Markup – Strong understanding of HTML5 and CSS3, including client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks like jQuery.
Cross-Browser Compatibility – Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions.
Version Control – Proficient with code versioning tools, such as Git.
Development Methodologies – Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or SAFe development methodologies.
Bonus Skills – Experience with Angular Material Framework, Google Material Design System, and advanced CSS features.
Testing Frameworks – Experience with testing frameworks and tools.
Image Authoring Tools – Basic knowledge of image editing tools for cropping, resizing, and adjustments.
Design Tools – Familiarity with tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, and Photoshop is a plus.
Soft Skills – Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
